Rose is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant and essential oil plant,and rose is a kind of flower with health care function. It has a very high value of food. It has broad prospects in the food industry. This paper summarized the research results of the previous studies on the varieties,nutritional value and application of the rose,and the development prospect of the roses were also prospected.
